Block Matrix
Block Matrix is a timetabling module that helps to plan and generate timetables for courses (for example: GCSE, AS and A2 Levels) that are delivered over multiple sessions per week, broken down into blocks or periods.
It can be used to set up the curriculum prior to use with applications or enrolments. It can also be used to provide applicants with information about available options (that is: the courses they can choose from).
Note: You can only set up one matrix (that is: you cannot have an A Level matrix, a GCSE matrix, and so on), as a learner could be enrolled on a blended programme of courses (for example: an A Level and a GCSE), so they are all built into the one matrix so that clashes can be managed.
The Block Matrix module can be accessed by clicking the Block Matrix button on the Start ribbon.
